Frequently Asked Questions

Casino Marketing & Technology + Host Player Development Conference

What are your health and safety guidelines?

Raving is following the guidelines of the State of Nevada and CDC guidelines for our 2022 event. Currently there are no requirements for attendees to be vaccinated. Any announcements and updates will be made on our conference website while already registered conference participants would be informed directly via email.

What makes this event different?

The Casino Marketing and Technology Conference (CMTC) and the Host Player Development Conference (HPDC) are different than other conferences. Our goal isn’t for you to listen to people talk for three days, but that you come out with actionable solutions, ideas and inspiration through using state of the art technology, interactive learning tools, tradeshow floor with the newest products and an inspired format.

We also integrate several networking opportunities with fellow attendees and vendors. We can’t shout any louder how we believe how valuable those conversations outside of the classroom for professional growth and the sharing of best practices.

There are two conferences back-to-back, when should I show up?

The CMTC conference begins officially with early registration on Monday, July 12 from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. There are no other activities that night. You can also register first thing on Tuesday morning at 7 am.
The exhibit hall opens and classes beginning July 12 first thing in the morning and ends Wednesday, July 13 at our evening event. The PD and Host Conference begins the afternoon of July 13 and ends on Thursday late afternoon on July 14. Those who registered for a combo pass would start their day early with us on Tuesday and end Thursday late afternoon.

For those attending the Host and PD Conference only, get there by Wednesday late afternoon to register as well as attend our networking party at 5:00 pm at the Cynch Saloon on the arena floor. You can also take a tour of the arena that evening.

Will you be using a conference app and how do I download it?

Yes, we will have a conference app through our provider WHOVA. You will be sent a link a week prior to the conference with instructions how to download the app and it’s uses which will include:

  • Access the event agenda, on-demand recorded sessions and polling
  • Visit booths to participate in the passport contest for prizes on July 12 & 13
  • Send in-app messages and exchange contact info with attendees and exhibitors
  • Network and find attendees with common affiliations, education, shared networks, and social profiles
  • Receive update notifications from organizers
  • Explore the professional profiles of event speakers and attendees
  • Create community board topics and meet-ups!

Will you be recording the sessions?

We will have audio recordings of the sessions available through the exclusive attendee conference app after the conference for 60 days.

The conference platform will be closed on September 10, 2022. You will use your same login to access. Remember you can listen to audio recordings, download handouts, and still ask presenters questions anytime within this 60-day period.
