Casino Marketing & Technology + Host Player Development Conference

When are classes and networking events? Can I attend all of them?

Please visit our official agenda here

What are your health and safety guidelines?

Raving is following the guidelines of the State of California and CDC guidelines for our upcoming event. Currently there are no requirements for attendees to be vaccinated. Any announcements and updates will be made on our conference website while already registered conference participants would be informed directly via email.

I’m creating a budget for this event, what is included with my conference pass?

We will be providing breakfast and lunch on all conference days. Visit our travel page for room rates and/or ground transportation. We have evening networking receptions where we are primarily serving beverages.

I have food restrictions … what should I do?

Breakfasts and one tradeshow floor luncheon are buffet style, and we offer a wide range of food for just about every diet: protein, fruit and starches. For our keynote luncheon we’re providing a plated meal. If you require a vegetarian or gluten free meal, inform us of your dietary restrictions when you register or email chris@betravingknows.com a week prior to the event.

Where do I stay and when should I get there?

Pechanga Casino Resort is our host hotel. Go to our travel page for booking your hotel and shuttle information. Beware of scammers who send out information about hotel deals. Only use our links and code from our travel page. Visit Our Travel Page

How do I get credits with University of Phoenix?

Email gency@betravingknows.com that you are interested in learning more about credits for University of Phoenix or call us 775-329-7864. We will introduce you to Patrick Horning, University of Phoenix and confirm that you attended the sessions. You can also complete this online form after the event to begin the process.

What do I wear?

Business casual is what most attendees choose. We have evening events and parties planned, feel free to dress up or bust out some fun shoes if that's for you! Remember conference rooms are never the right temperature – too hot or too cold, layer accordingly!

I have some specific goals for attending this conference, and I want to make sure that I leave with a good understanding of the topic. Can I book one-on-one time with the presenters?

If you’re trying to solve a very specific problem, book your private appointment today for some expert help. Half-hour or One-Hour meetings can be booked ahead of time.

Take this opportunity to "pick the brains" of leading industry experts on data analytics, marketing and more. Please contact Liz Palar at liz@betravingknows.com or call her at 775-329-7864 for more information.

What makes this event different?

The Casino Marketing & Technology Conference (CMTC) and the Host Player Development Conference (HPDC) are different than other conferences. Our goal isn’t for you to listen to people talk for three days, but that you come out with actionable solutions, ideas and inspiration through using state of the art technology, interactive learning tools, tradeshow floor with the newest products and an inspired format.

We also integrate several networking opportunities with fellow attendees and vendors. We can’t shout any louder how we believe how valuable those conversations outside of the classroom for professional growth and the sharing of best practices.

There are two conferences back-to-back, when should I show up?

The Casino Marketing & Technology Conference begins officially with early registration on Monday, July 28 from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. There are no other activities scheduled for that night. You can also register first thing on Tuesday morning at 7 am.

The exhibit hall opens and classes begin on Tuesday, July 29 first thing in the morning and end Wednesday, July 30 at our evening event.

The Host & Player Development Conference begins the afternoon of July 30 and ends on Thursday late afternoon on July 31. There are concurrent classes for both Marketing and PD folks to choose from on Wednesday afternoon.

If you have purchased a COMBO pass to attend both, then plan on being in class Tuesday morning through Thursday afternoon.

For those attending the Host & Player Development Conference only, get there by Wednesday and join us for a buffet lunch on the tradeshow floor before your sessions begin Wednesday afternoon.

Will you be using a conference app and how do I download it?

Yes, we will have a conference app through our provider WHOVA. You will be sent a link one week prior to the conference with instructions to download the app and it’s uses which include:

  • Access the event agenda, on-demand recorded sessions and polling
  • Visit booths to participate in the passport contest for prizes on July 29 & 30
  • Send in-app messages and exchange contact info with attendees and exhibitors
  • Network and find attendees with common affiliations, education, shared networks, and social profiles
  • Receive update notifications from organizers
  • Explore the professional profiles of event speakers and attendees
  • Create community board topics and meet-ups!

What is your cancellation policy?

Once payment is received, there will be no refunds. We can transfer an attendee registration to another team member up to seven days in advance. Thank you for understanding that Raving incurs costs for exhibitors, sponsors and attendees in the planning of the event.

I can’t find my registration email and directions to log-in.
